Why I do what I do ?

Updated: Jul 25, 2021

In the beginning, I set my alarm for 60 minutes to write this post, and after that, I will shift my energy from mental to physical energy by walking around my house.

Then, I should remind myself of 4 energy management principles that I am working on right now;

Principle 1: I should find the balance between this four energy that they related to other; mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual.

Principle 2: I should use the energy intermittent that should help with the energy capacity.

principle 3: I should push beyond my normal limit to build more capacity.

Principle 4: I should have a highly specific routine for managing energy.

I learned that I should balance them and switch between types of energy to restore other energy! I failed many times to manage it all together, but I know that I am building to sophisticate the (GTD) structure and methodology.

It is so helpful when I ask myself why I am taking this course, why am I studying this major? Why I do what in life and business?

When I answer this question, I accept a new habit, and I started to put this habit into my routine and It is always great to have a little treat after GTD!

I always have this time management challenge to get things done, and I should always push beyond my limit to GTD.

I have taken a relatively holistic approach and have scheduled my reading/writing in the noon, like 12 to 3 o'clock. And have also been very consistent in spending time with my family early in the morning and late at dinner time. I also in between, do my spiritual time by praying or spending time with one of my close friends. I still missing to manage my physical thing by having a consistent workout.

I will not forget that I still need enough sleep and good nutrition, which will help restore my energy (BRAC). A Basic Rest Activity Cycle includes an alternate break for about 20 minutes when you spend 90 minutes with complete focus. Some people found out the highest level of productivity in the natural rhythm in three cycles of intense focus with shorter exercise cycles. I feel completely engaged and highly productive.
